U.S. Highway 50 has been shut down southeast of Hutchinson after what officials describe as a "major accident".
Two people were injured, including one victim in critical condition.
Emergency crews responded just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to a crash involving two vehicles at Kent Road.
The sheriff's office said on Facebook that the highway was between Yoder Road & Haven Road.
