John Whitmer Show

John Whitmer has been involved in politics for decades working on multiple local, state and national political campaigns including serving as the 4th District Field Director for both the 2018 Kobach/Hartman Gubernatorial campaign and Senator Jerry Moran's 2016 re-election campaign.

He served for four years in the KS House of Representatives representing the 93rd Kansas House District in SW Sedgwick County.  He is currently serving as Chairman of the Sedgwick County Republican Party and served as Chairman of the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training from 2012-2018.

In 2018 John launched The John Whitmer Show, airing Sunday evenings on KNSS, Wichita’s #1 rated radio station, where he is proud to champion the core conservative principle of limited government, individual liberty, free enterprise and traditional values. His guests have included Eric Trump, Riley Gaines, Vice President Mike Pence, syndicated hosts Mark Levin, Todd Starnes and Ben Shapiro; former White House Press Secretaries Ari Fleischer and Sean Spicer; and dozens of Federal, State and Locally elected officials. He was a delegate to the 2012, 2016 & 2020 Republican National Conventions.

 John and his wife Marlena have lived in Sedgwick County for over 30 years and his family's Kansas roots date back to the late 1800’s. A 2008 member of the Wichita Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 class, he and Marlena own a small business based in Wichita.
