Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners are marking 15 years of partnering with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders.

Consumers 21 and older can support the organization year-round by buying any Budweiser or Budweiser Zero 12-pack, with a portion of proceeds going to the nonprofit.

“For 15 years, Anheuser-Busch has served as a steadfast partner, helping to advance our mission by activating in communities across the country and contributing directly to the life-changing educational scholarships we provide to the families of fallen or disabled military and first responders," said Folds of Honor Founder and CEO, retired Army Lt Col Dan Rooney.

Budweiser is also unveiling new limited-edition cans with patriotic branding, a special graphic in honor of the partnership milestone and an interactive QR code so consumers can learn more about Folds of Honor.

As part of the inaugural “American Beers for American Heroes” effort, Anheuser-Busch will donate a portion of Budweiser or Budweiser Zero draught sold from May through November to Folds of Honor.

Consumers can also show their gratitude for service members with the new “Buy a Hero a Bud” program. Consumers can opt to buy a beer for any active-duty or veteran of the military or first responder at participating locations.

Eligible recipients can then redeem a complimentary beer from the "American Beers for American Heroes" reserves with a valid military or work ID or badge.
The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales will also go on a national tour to bring the Folds of Honor mission to communities nationwide.

“Throughout our storied history, Budweiser’s commitment to honoring those who have served our country and communities has remained steadfast,” said Todd Allen, SVP of marketing at Budweiser and Bud Light. “This year, as we celebrate 15 years of partnership with Folds of Honor, we’re proud to further our commitment of giving back to the American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much on a daily basis.”

Over the last 15 years, Anheuser-Busch has donated over $33 million, which has funded over 6,600 scholarships for Folds of Honor recipients.
