
According the the U.S Geological Survey, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck at 11:10 a.m. Monday, just south of the Kansas/Oklahoma border.

The quake was centered about 60 miles southwest of Wichita, and about 14 miles southwest of Caldwell, Kansas, which is located in Sumner County.
The earthquake reverberated throughout south-central Kansas, and was felt by several residents in the Wichita area.
