The new, 1,000,000 square-foot Amazon Fulfillment Center will become operational on Sunday.
Part City officials say the new center is beginning with their inbound and receiving workers at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday. Between 150 and 200 employees will be reporting for work over the next seven days.
In about week, the center will adding outbound and shipping employees, working their way up with two 10-hour shifts a day with 400 employees per shift.
While there are no plans for a public grand opening, officials said that new employees will be welcomed by a high school band.
