Just before 8:20 a.m. the KBI released an update on the Amber Alert out of Garden City. The child and vehicle were located abandoned in Finney County. Sebastian was unharmed. The suspect was not located.
***Previous Story***
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for Sebastian Bautista, who was last seen in the back seat of a vehicle on U.S. 50 in Garden City.
At approximately 5:00 a.m., the mother of the 14 month-old Sebastian placed him in her white 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe to take him to the babysitter. She went back into her residence briefly, and then saw the vehicle leaving her driveway with an unknown suspect driving. The vehicle departed the area southbound.
The KBI believes that the child is in imminent danger and is requesting the assistance of the public. Sebastian is a 1-year-old with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt and grey shorts and was in the back seat of a white 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe license plate number 336FWK.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately, or the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME.
