The Andover YMCA announced that it will be fully open again in May. The exact opening date hasn't been announced, but the organization says to follow the branch for updates.
KSN News reports the opening will come two years after an EF-3 tornado moved through the east side of Andover on the evening of April 29, 2022. YMCA employees reacted and got everyone to safety before the storm hit the building. Cars from the parking lot were thrown into the lobby, the roof was removed, and glass was shattered.
