USD 359 has joined a handful of other districts in the state who have adopted a 4-day school week. There are now no classes on Monday for Argonia Public Schools. Day care is being made available to parents for $25 a day, lunches will be provided for children who attend.
The school district will make back the time of instruction by starting the school day 10 minutes earlier and adding 15 minutes to the end of the day. The district has also added two school days at the beginning of the year and four days at the end of the year to make back some of the lost time.
