If you have not received a COVID-19 vaccine yet, you will have another opportunity on Friday, July 9th.
Sedgwick County Commissioner Sarah Lopez announced the Haysville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a “Beat the Virus” vaccination drive. It will be held from 8 a.m. until Noon, at the Haysville Community Building located at 130 East 2nd Street South. The first 65 people who get their vaccine will receive a $25 gift card to a Haysville business.
At the same meeting, Sedgwick County Commissioner Jim Howell announced more opportunities to sit down and chat with him about issues that concern you.
The new opportunity will be next Monday, July 12 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at Range 54, located at 5725 East Kellogg Drive. Howell plans to have these meetings on the second Monday of the month.
Howell also has meetings on the first Friday of the month, from 4-6 p.m. at the Bread of Life Building at 1301 East Galena. He also sits down for coffee on the last Friday of the month in Derby, from 7-9 a.m.
