Fire crews discovered a body in a burning car while fighting a grass fire after a car crash in Segdwick County. It happened around 8:00 p.m. Monday night near 55th south and West Street.
Officials said that as fire crews were working the grass fire, they discovered a woman's body in a car that was also on fire. A second person was also found in the area, injured.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's office is investigating. Additional information was not immediately available.
