At Tuesday's meeting, the Wichita City Council will get a first look at a proposed budget for 2022. Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News the City is in better financial shape than last year, with $72 million in federal pandemic relief money help with the spending plan. Whipple says the federal money will be targeted to help get the local economy "back going again".
