The Sedgwick County Commission will get a first look at next year's budget during this week's meeting. Commissioner Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News it could be a short meeting Wednesday, starting early, at 8 a.m. At 9:30 Commissioners will break to attend a special infrastructure meeting, hosted by the Kansas Department of Transportation. The County Commission can resume their meeting later, if necessary. The commissioners will get a look at next year's budget.
This week the state of Kansas signed up for 988 ... the Mental Health Crisis Lifeline. Meitzner the COVID pandemic has taken a toll on people's mental health.
Meitzner commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
