A victim on a motorcycle was critically injured in a head-on crash in heavy fog southwest of Wichita; the collision involving a car and a motorcycle happened just before 7:00 a.m. Monday on Maize Road near Kansas Highway 42, at Schulte.
The car was north-bound on Maize, and the motorcycle was heading south when the crash occurred. Investigators are working to determine who crossed which lane, leading to the crash.
The motorcyclist was hospitalized, and both lanes of Maize Road were blocked for the investigation.
