A suspect surrendered peacefully after a stand-off in central Wichita.
It started around 7:30 Saturday night. WPD officers in an unmarked car were observing a home in the 1400 block of N. Grove. They believed the home was connected to series of robberies.
A man came out of the home armed with a gun and fired one shot at the unmarked car. He then went back inside the home and barricaded himself.
Negotiators worked with the subject to surrender peacefully.
