In observance of the upcoming Memorial Day, City of Wichita facilities will be closed and/or have special hours. CityArts and the Mid-American All-Indian Museum are closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. All Wichita Public Library locations are closed Sunday and Monday. And on Monday City Hall, neighborhood resource centers, Transit administrative offices, Park administrative offices & Recreation centers, Wichita Art Museum, Cowtown, Great Plains Nature Center, Environmental Health office, WATER Center, Animal Shelter and Brooks Landfill will be closed.
There will be no Wichita Transit or Paratransit service on Monday. O.J. Watson Park will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday; shelters and rides close at 5 p.m.; no fireworks are allowed in the park.
Botanica, Ralph Wulz Riverside Tennis Center and Wichita Public Golf Courses will be open regular hours. And of course it is opening day for Wichita Public Swimming Pools.
