One man is dead after a traffic accident in Ellsworth County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol it happened around 10:20 a.m. Saturday on I-70 west of K-14. An SUV pulling a trailer was eastbound on I-70, went into the median, overcorrected and rolled into the ditch.
The driver of the SUV, 64-year-old Terry Ross of Colorado Springs, was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, there were no other vehicles or individuals involved.
