The five largest counties in Kansas say they're not getting enough support from the state in operating local license tag offices. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News the Big Five Counties met in Wichita last Friday, and those officials agreed that counties don't have the control they need to do a better job in serving the public. The tag offices are under state authority, but run by county treasurers. The offices are inefficient and slow in their operation. The problem? Lack of funding and up-to-date equipment.
Ryan Baty commented during his weekly appearance with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
