A man from El Dorado suffered serious injuries in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike.
The crash occurred at 12:10 p.m. Saturday in Sumner County, on the southbound exit ramp at mile marker 19.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the driver, Michael House, 69, was going too fast to negotiate the curve and his motorcycle crashed into the grass.
Mr. House was transported to a Wichita hospital for his injuries. Troopers report he was wearing a helmet.
