The cost of your Evergy bill is going up. Starting next year the company will begin adding part of the cost of a winter storm from last year.
Most residential customers will see a monthly bill increase by $2.82 for two years, starting in April of 2023.
However, some Evergy customers closer to Kansas City will get a monthly credit of $6.60 for a year.
The Kansas Corporation Commission approved the settlement agreement.
