Fake threats prompt lockdowns at two Kansas schools

Two Kansas High Schools were placed on lockdown Friday, after receiving calls about suspicious back packs.

Hays High was locked down due to the report of a suspicious back pack in a classroom.  At about the same time a dispatcher in Russell County received a call about a suspicious black backpack at Russell High.

Authorities determined that both calls were not credible threats, and were most likely due to swatting.
