A family traveling in a minivan were injured in a crash in Butler County. It happened just after 5:00 p.m. Friday at SW Prairie Creek Rd. and SW 30th, near Stearman Airfield.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the minivan was traveling northbound on Prairie Creek Rd., when it was struck by a pickup traveling westbound.
Six people, including a child, 2, suffered serious injuries. A 17-year-old was transported by life-flight to a Wichita hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
