Textron Aviation says a faulty air system may have contributed in the death of Wichita worker.

Rocky Baldwin, 61, died on Feb. 24 while working in a paint booth at Textron’s east campus.

An internal investigation found that even though he was wearing a ventilator mask, the breathing air system unintentionally allowed nitrogen in, which diluted the oxygen, making it unsafe to breath.

Textron Aviation says they have turned their findings over to Sedgwick County and OSHA officials who are still investigating.
