Fire crews battled a building fire in Cheney. It began around 5:45 p.m. Monday evening in the 900 block of N. Main at a Lubbers car dealership.
Crews were able to contain the blaze to the service area, where damage appeared to be extensive. The main office and dealership lot were not affected by the fire.
One person was taken in to be evaluated for possible injuries. Officials believe the fire was started by a welding spark. The State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating.
