The Harvey County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate after human remains were found in eastern Harvey County Monday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office received a report of remains found near a hedge row near East First and North Rock Road. The investigation has determined the deceased individual is a woman. Identifying information about the woman was not found on scene.
The Harvey County Coroner's Office will examine dental records and perform an autopsy to determine the woman's identity. The cause of death of the woman has not been identified.
The incident remains under investigation. It is not known if foul play was involved. Anyone with information regarding the death should contact 911.
