A wrong-way crash in Harvey County killed one person and injured another.
The accident happened just after Midnight Sunday on southbound I-135 about a half mile south of US-50 at milepost 29.3. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by Jeremy Sagerty, 45 of Wichita, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. He crashed head-on into another vehicle, driven by Christian Walker, 50 of San Francisco, California.
Sagerty died at the scene while Walker suffered minor injuries. The KHP is investigating why Sagerty was driving the wrong way.
