A Flood Warning is in effect for Sedgwick County until noon Saturday, following storms that moved through the area Friday night and into the overnight hours.
While the storm was not severe, but close to 2'' of rain fell in a one hour period Friday night. Combined with rainfall totals from Thursday, total amounts are estimated to be in the 1'' to 2.5'' range.
With the ground already saturated, additional overnight rainfall will add to the flooding concers in Wichita, and south central Kansas.
