At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will consider proposed changes to a popular visitor attraction. Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News Exploration Place's Adam Smith will present plans to make land near the building into a park.
The value of property in Sedgwick County has risen dramatically in recent months. Meitzner says assessed value increases means property owners will see their tax bills go up. He says the County has seen more complaints this year than in years past.
Meitzner commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
