Jared Cerullo was sworn in Tuesday morning as the new, interim council member for District III in Wichita. He was selected last week to fill the seat vacated by former council member James Clendenin, who resigned in December.
Judge Jennifer Jones administered the Oath of Office to Cerullo, who was accompanied by family. He will hold the seat until January 10, 2022.
Voters will select the next council member in the city's upcoming November election, which will be for a full four-year term.
