Separate crashes in Pratt County on Saturday killed two men, including one from Wichita.
The first crash occurred just after 5:20 Saturday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol says James Glover Jr., 53, of Wichita, was driving a semi truck east on US-54 in Pratt County when for an unknown reason he crossed the center line.
A westbound semi truck driver attempted to avoid Glover but was hit on the side. Glover was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
The westbound truck went into the north ditch but that driver was not injured.
Later in the afternoon, a motorcyclist from Pratt died in a crash.
Just after 3:25 p.m., Austin Clifton, 29, from Pratt, was driving his motorcycle west on US-54 just west of SW 110th Avenue. Clifton crashed into the back of another vehicle and died at the scene. The KHP said that Clifton was wearing a helmet.
The other driver was not injured.
