The Kansas Chamber of Commerce released their 2026 Competitiveness Bluebook, a report analyzing how Kansas compares to other states across metrics impacting economic growth and business success. The report evaluates Kansas across a wide range of indicators tied to the state’s business climate, workforce, infrastructure, and innovation economy. By comparing Kansas to national benchmarks, the Bluebook highlights both strengths and areas where continued focus and reform are needed to remain competitive.
“The Competitiveness Bluebook is an important tool that helps guide conversations about Kansas’ economic future,” said Eric Stafford, President and CEO of the Kansas Chamber. “While our state has many advantages, the data makes it clear there is more work to do to ensure Kansas is positioned to compete with other states for jobs, talent, and investment.”
The Kansas Chamber produces the Bluebook as part of its mission to provide research and policy recommendations that support free enterprise and enhance the Kansas economy.
