The seventh Kansas Manufacturing Summit is taking place all day Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Wichita.
"Innovate. Calibrate. Accelerate." is the theme of this year's summit. The day-long forum provides the opportunity to network, learn about manufacturing resources and industry trends, and gain insight into workforce development.
The winners of the 2023 Coolest Thing Made In Kansas will be announced during the summit. The competition features two categories - People's Choice and Coolest Innovation.
The summit is open to all Kansas manufacturers, educators, those who support the state's manufacturing industry, as well as anyone interested in learning more about the industry.
The summit is part of the month-long celebration of National Manufacturing Month and is co-hosted by the Kansas Manufacturing Council and Kansas Chamber, in partnership with Kansas Manufacturing Solutions and the Kansas Department of Commerce.
