An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a Chanute woman. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Neosho County Sheriff's Office announced that Joseph Deluca, 37, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant in the death of Elaina Asprea, 47. Her body was found on December 6.
Deluca was in the Cumberland County Detention Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he was already incarcerated on unrelated charges.
The KBI says the investigation continues.
