The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office are investigating a homicide that occurred early Thursday morning in Marysville, Kansas.
At approximately 2:30 Thursday morning, a man placed a 911 call to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office from a residence in Marysville, requesting medical assistance for his wife. When deputies arrived, they found Jennifer Brown, 57, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Jennifer's husband, Gerald Brown, 66, was arrested for first-degree murder and was booked into the Marshall County Jail, pending formal charges.
