The KDHE reports 14,270 Kansans have tested positive for coronavirus. 17 more deaths and 71 new hospitalizations are also linked to COVID-19.

Of the deaths, one was in the 10 to 17-year-old age group.  Along with the reported death last week in the 0 to 9-year-old age group, the two deaths bring the total number of COVID-19 pediatric deaths to 8 in Kansas.

In Sedgwick County, there are 294 hospitalizations, with 72-in the I-C-U.  That number is down 8 from last week.

The 14-day positivity rate is 23.8%.  The state-wide positivity rate for January is 30%.
