
The Highway Patrol investigated four fatal traffic accidents across Kansas over the weekend. In total, six people died.
49-year-old Joseph Bailey of Kingman died Friday morning when two pickups and a semi collided in Harper County. The drivers of the semi and the other pickup involved were uninjured.
26-year-old Gabriel Herron of Kansas City died Friday in a one-car crash on U.S. 56 in Rice County. There were no other injuries reported, and no other vehicles involved.
Killed in a two-car crash Sunday in Clay County were 56-year-old Deanna Hess of Clay Center and 53-year-old Lisa Stevenson of Salina. There was a teenager who was a passenger in one of the vehicles. The teen was taken to Salina Regional Health Center in serious condition.
22-year-old Dylan Harvey of Topeka and 33-year-old Gavin Royer of Valley Falls were killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Jefferson County. One vehicle was traveling the wrong direction on KS 4 and crashed head-on into the other.
