Koch Industries looks to sell biofuels business

Koch Industries Division Flint Hills Resources is in discussions to sell its biofuels business to Poet. Flint Hills is headquartered in Wichita ... It's a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch and employs about four thousand people nationwide. Wichita Business Journal reports Koch's biofuels business includes six ethanol plants with a combined annual capacity of 800 million gallons. Poet is based in South Dakota and has a Wichita office on North Webb Road. They did not make public a sale price.
