Sedgwick County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News local officials are gathering Wednesday to talk about a public transportation road map. The Kansas Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting to prioritize their projects in the area for the next two years.
Meitzner says the County is receiving some money from the state, aimed at the "physical security" of the coming election. The $37,000 grant will help the Sedgwick County Election office to make sure their computers protects the security of the November 7th election.
Meitzner commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the morning on KNSS.
