Retired KWCH news anchor Roger Cornish died Wednesday after a battle with liver disease, he was 66.
Cornish began his TV career as a camera operator for KTVH in Hutchinson in 1972, before moving into producing and reporting. He anchored evening newscasts from the late 1970s until his retirement in 2018.
He received numerous awards for his television reporting during his career.
