A man is recovering in the hospital, after he was struck by a car while riding an electric scooter.
It happened around Noon Saturday, in the 1900 block of E. Douglas, between Hydraulic and Grove. EMS took him to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic on Douglas was rerouted for a time while Wichita Police investigated the incident.
