A man was hospitalized following a shooting Saturday night in south Wichita.
Police responded around 8:20 p.m. to the 3300 block of W. All Hallows Ave.
According to investigators, the victim and a teenager may have been wrestling around in the home, when the teen picked up the man’s handgun, accidentally firing it. The man was shot once in the chest but is expected to survive.
There are no arrests at this time and the case will be reviewed by the Sedgwick County DA's office.
