A 46-year-old man from Wichita has died after a crash involving his motorcycle and an SUV near 109th Street North & Meridian, north of Valley Center.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office identified the man killed as Guerrero Moreno, Jr.; he died at the scene of the crash, reported at about 9:00 p.m. Monday.
A 68-year-old woman from Sedgwick, driving a Toyota RAV4, suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized for treatment.
The preliminary investigation indicates Moreno was traveling south-bound on Meridian when he entered the north-bound lanes of on-coming traffic. The Toyota RAV4 then struck Moreno and the motorcycle.
