Some aircraft workers have been publicly protesting in Wichita ... demonstrating their displeasure at their employers' COVID vaccination mandates. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News he is amazed at "how emotional this whole thing has been". He says every step of the COVID pandemic "comes with a high emotion of yes or no" ... "it just baffles me."
Meitzner says Spirit AeroSystems and Textron have big government contracts worth "millions and millions" of dollars, and that's why they're requiring that their employees get vaccinated.
Meitzner commented during his weekly chat with Steve and Ted in the Morning on KNSS.
