Wichita police are looking for the person who struck and killed a motorcyclist before fleeing the scene.
Police say Kenneth Ballinger, 37, of Derby, died when his motorcycle was hit by a black SUV at a Wichita intersection on Tuesday night. The initial investigation indicates the vehicle was turning at the intersection when Ballinger's motorcycle was hit.
Jail booking records show a 31-year-old man is in custody. Ballinger was a Wichita music promoter who owned two venues, Barleycorns and the Elbow Room.
