The man who stole the clown from Wichita's Joyland Park, will not be allowed to purchase the park's organ.
A court ruled against Damian Mayes appeal, saying Mayes didn't pay for the organ on time, according to a contract he made with the park owner after the park closed. Mayes was a long time park employee at Joyland.
In 2010, Mayes was convicted of child sex crimes, and in 2015, while in jail police, discovered Louie the Clown in his home. Mayes pleaded no-contest to stealing the iconic clown from the park.
Mayes remains in jail on his 2010 conviction.
