One person was injured in a shooting outside of a gas station in Augusta. It happened just before 10:00 p.m. Friday night in the 600 block of west 7th Avenue.
Police say they had been looking for a suspect with outstanding felony warrants, which led up to a confrontation with an officer and a man, 47. The suspect was shot by the officer, and was transported to a Wichita hospital.
Additional information was not immediately available. The KBI was called in to lead the investigation.
