Seven people were shot and two trampled, in a shooting in Old Town early Sunday morning.
It happened just before 1 a.m. at City Nightz Old Town near 1st and Washington.
Wichita Police Lt. Aaron Moses says there were no fatalities, but one person was in critical condition. KWCH-TV reports the ages of the nine victims range from 21 to 35. All were hospitalized after the incident.
Police were stationed outside of the club due to past issues, 12 incidents so far this year, and were able to respond immediately to the shooting.
One person was detained by police for questioning.
