A Whitewater man died Saturday morning in a crash near Park City.
It happened just before 11:40 a.m., on southbound I-135 at 53rd Street North. The Kansas Highway Patrol says Damian Conner, 23 of Whitewater, died after his vehicle crashed into the back of a semi tractor-trailer.
Heavy traffic caused cars to come to a complete stop on I-135. The KHP says Conner was driving southbound at the speed limit but could not stop in time on the wet roadway. He died at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
