A head-on collision west of El Dorado Friday evening has killed one person and seriously injured three other people.
It happened around 11:30 Friday night on US-254 just west of El Dorado.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Amy Brown, of Eureka, was heading east in the westbound lanes of US-254 when her vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle with three teenagers inside.
The four people were transported to a local hospital for their injuries. One of the victims, an 18-year-old woman from El Dorado, died.
It's unclear why Brown was in the wrong lane.
