One person is dead, two others injured following a crash in Saline County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol it happened around 1:00 Wednesday morning on I-135 and Water Well Road, south of Salina.
A southbound pickup crossed the center median and struck a northbound pickup, causing it to catch on fire. All three people involved were injured and taken to the hospital. The northbound truck's passenger, 26-year-old Daisha Endsley of Salina died at the hospital.
The 41-year-old man who was driving the northbound truck and a 20-year-old woman driving the soutbound truck were hospitalized with serious injuries.
