One person died, another was injured in a crash in south Wichita. It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday night near 47th south and Meridian.
A pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
In a separate accident, one person was critically injured when a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in northeast Wichita. It happened just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday night in the 1100 block of north Williamsburg, near 13th and Oliver.
Investigators said that one person was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.
